Clearwater Police Dept. Report Number SR3.1 R(K2a) This report concerns conversations Lt. Emmons and other law enforcement officials regarding investigation of the Krentzman boat incident. Emmons tries to find out whether state officials plan to investigate the possible violations of state laws. In one conversation, he is told that US Attorney Merkle will put Emmons in jail for obstruction of justice if he investigates the incident.
