Thanks for running Philip Terzian's editorial on Germany and
Scientology. I agree with Terzian's statement that the Germans are
entirely justified in seeing Scientology as a threat.
Whether Scientology is a religion or not, it is undeniably
a
criminally convicted organization with
alarming totalitarian
characteristics.
Respecting Scientologists' right to believe whatever they want does not
require us to let them act illegally or unethically,
nor does it allow
them to surreptitiously teach Scientology principles in government
or
business settings.
