Jason Beghe and Scientology

Jason Beghe is an actor best known for his roles in the television program To Have & to Hold and the movie G.I. Jane. He's had several recurring roles on TV shows.

Once a prominent celebrity Scientologist, Beghe left Scientology in 2007. In early 2008, he began to speak publicly about Scientology's abuses, most notably through videos made by Mark Bunker of Xenu TV<. He has asked Scientology to turn over his auditing files to him.

When did Jason Beghe join Scientology?

Beghe became involved in Scientology in 1994. He told Celebrity magazine that, while studying with acting teacher Milton Katselas, he asked two of his classmates, Mary Thompson and Bodhi Elfman, about Scientology. Thompson gave him a copy of What is Scientology?, and Beghe asked Elfman to bring him to the Celebrity Centre, where he signed up for the Purification Rundown and the TRs & Objectives Course.

In 1995, he completed the Key to Life Course and the Life Orientation Course. He also attested to Clear in 1995. In 1996, he did two of the extremely expensive Ls, L11 and L12. He also began attesting to OT Levels in 1996. He attested to OT III in 1997 and completed the Route to Infinity Course. Completions records show two repeats of the PTS/SP Course, one in 2000 and one in 2002. In 2003, he attested to OT V.

Has Jason Beghe received any special recognition in Scientology?

In 1995, Beghe was the featured interview subject in Celebrity 285, in which he promoted the Scientology Art Course. He also promoted the Ls in Scientology's Source magazine, issue 113.

Does Jason Beghe promote Scientology?
