State Prosecutor Asks Court to Jail A Former Leader of Scientology

A state prosecutor Wednesday asks a court to jail a former leader of the Church of Scientology in France in a fraud trial. The prosecutor recommends that Xavier Delamare, a former leader of the church in southeastern France, be sent to prison for 18 months, with another 18 months suspended, and a 200,000 franc ($32,000) fine.
