The deputy guardian for information U.S.
Date:
February 17, 1976
The deputy guardian for information U.S., Dick Weigand, sends a letter to the deputy guardian U.S., Henning Heldt, "Re: Yorty and Wayne." It began: "Dear Henning, I believe that you had asked that a check be done for Sam Yorty and John Wayne in the 1361 agency's (Internal Revenue Service) files. Sam Yorty's file is attached ..." However, Weigand said, the church's agent hadn't been able to locate the IRS file for actor John Wayne. He said he would keep trying. The letter was signed "Love, Dick."
