NARRATIVE:
On April 1, 1997, Detective James Little and I interviewed Nolan Cage, Gurney Pasco,
and Franz Reiter, at the Clearwater Police Department. The three individuals were
interviewed separately in the presence of their attorney Ronald Cacciatore.
Nolan Cage was interviewed from 1405 hours until 1435 hours. The following
information was obtained from Cage.

Cage stated he first met Lisa in Dallas, Texas during the Late 70's or early 80's. Cage
stated he was Staff at the Church of Scientology and Lisa was a student. Cage stated
although he has known Lisa McPherson for a long time to him she was more of an
acquaintance. Cage stated Lisa had a closer relationship with his spouse Shirley "Dee
Dee" Cage. Cage stated in 1994 to 1995 he noticed Lisa was exhibiting a forced
personality at times. Cage stated he recalls Lisa taking time off from work during the
middle of 1995. Cage stated the rumor was she was having boyfriend problems. Cage

stated he didn't have much information on Lisa McPherson because they ran in
"different circles." Cage stated they were two different personalities.
Cage's interview was not transcribe, however the tape of the interview was given to
Sgt. W. Andrews.
Gurney Mallory Pasco was interviewed from 1445 hours until 1517 hours. The
following information was obtained from Pasco.

Pasco stated he was employed by AMC Publishing from April 1995 until October 14,
1996. Pasco stated sometime between November 18, 1995, and December 5, 1995, he
had a conversation with Lisa McPherson at the Ft. Harrison Hotel. Pasco stated both
he and his wife Joan Pasco saw Lisa McPherson swimming alone at the Ft. Harrison
pool on a Friday night sometime after 2200 hours. Pasco stated it was probably two
weeks prior to her death. Pasco said he is sure it was on a Friday night. Pasco stated
he and his wife both spoke to Lisa. Pasco said after their conversation he watched
Lisa walk towards the cabanas. Pasco said that was the last contact he had with Lisa
prior to her death. For additional information on Pasco's interview see attached

Franz Reiter was interviewed from 1555 hours until 1645 hours. The following
information was obtained from Reiter.

Reiter said he has been employed by AMC Publishing since June of 1992, however
he knew Lisa McPherson from Dallas, Texas. Reiter said he first met Lisa in late 1985
or early 1986 via the church of Scientology in Dallas. Reiter said Lisa was on Staff at
the time he met her. Reiter said he started dating Lisa on February 2, 1991. Reiter
said they dated from February 1991 until January of 1992. I asked Reiter how did
Lisa handle stress. Reiter stated Lisa was an uplifting kind of person and very
excited. Reiter said prior to dating Lisa, she declared bankruptcy while living in
Dallas and handled it fine. Reiter said Lisa exhibited no metal problems while he was
dating her or ever since he has known her. Reiter can not understand why she
snapped the way she did. Reiter stated he doesn't know what caused her to run down
the street naked. Reiter stated prior to November of 1995 Lisa told him she was
having trouble sleeping. Reiter said Lisa did not expound on the sleeping problem.
Reiter said his last contact with Lisa was at the NAILBA convention in Orlando.
Reiter said he went with Bennetta Slaughter to the convention on a Thursday night
(11/16/95). Reiter said they went to dinner as a group, socialized, and conversed.
Reiter said he remembers Lisa dancing to the band. Reiter said Lisa Hugged a
customer and cried but he did not consider that unusual for Lisa. Reiter said he
didn't notice any unusual behavior regarding Lisa. Reiter's interview was not
transcribed however custody of the tape was given to Sgt. W. Andrews. Investigation
continues.
